Imagine living in a world where everything is fake. It may sound repulsive to you but in a generation or two it could be quite normal. This cow would surely like to keep his life and body in tact.
Our concern for others, people and animals, will change the way we eat. Already we are seeing fake meat, meat that is grown, from a cell to a steak, in a lab. But should we rely on that as an alternative. I say not. We often see recalls on meat and egg products. What could possibly happen in a lab? Maybe it would be cleaner than meat processing plant. However, lab grown meat does not have life-force energy. It is not compatible with your human body energy needs. No one knows what the long term effects of that energy in your body could do. I read this week that restaurants are buying fake meat. I’m sure the cost of eating out has cut into profits and they are trying to cut cost. I believe eventually we will be eating at home and not in restaurants, maybe like families did 50 years ago. Grocery stores are stocking fake meat too. Read the label. Fake meat label will reference cell production.
Instead make alterations to your diet. We have been educated for the last many years about not eating too much meat. If you haven’t already, maybe cut meat consumption in half. Meatless Mondays has been a movement for quite sometime but we need to do more than that. Having meat 3 times a day can can become once a day. There are many other protein sources to make up for the difference.
If your burger was 100% protein your body can only process 20% of it. If a vegetable was 100% protein your body will process 40, 50, 60% of that protein depending on what vegetable it is. Beans have a lot of protein, and the added benefit of fiber. Roughly 10% of the world are vegetarians. this means there are many very good recipes for non-meat proteins. There are protein drinks in a wide variety of flavors. Make your own rather than buy prepared. You will know what went into your drink, no fillers, no high sugar content if you read the label on the protein mix and don’t buy sugar filled product. Add a little fresh raw honey if you need sweetener. Adding fruit is another way to get a little sweetness into your shakes and some have good fiber content.
Why do I constantly point out fiber? Because fiber slows down sugar digestion so we don’t have sugar spikes. Fiber is also so good for moving waste along the digestion track. Fiber has many good effects for the body. Both soluble and non-soluble fiber are important and play a different part in a healthy body.
Lets start making healthy choices now.
